By accessing and using The Episode App, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this application.

2. Description of Service

The Episode App provides a platform for tracking TV episodes you've watched, rating them, and receiving personalized recommendations. The service includes data storage provided through Firebase (Google Cloud Platform).

3. User Accounts

You may use the app anonymously with limited features, or create an account for full functionality. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of any content you submit (ratings, notes, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use it for providing and improving our services. You agree not to: submit false or misleading information; attempt to reverse engineer the app; use the app for illegal purposes; or interfere with other users' enjoyment of the service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Episode App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. TV show information displayed in the app belongs to their respective copyright holders.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We comply with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws. You have the right to access, export, and delete your data at any time through the app's settings.

7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Premium features are available through auto-renewable subscriptions managed by the App Store. Prices may vary by region. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.

8. Third-Party Services

Our app uses Firebase for authentication and data storage. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party services' availability or functionality.

 9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of TV episode information or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Episode data is provided for informational purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the app.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app will cease immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
